Live from the Jan Cave is a weekly live show exclusive to Rocking Fox Radio, currently taking a sabbatical.

When the show is broadcasting, with my customary aversion to forward planning I basically have 7 days to plan each show but tend to procrastinate for 6 days and 23 hours so even I don’t know what’s going to happen when the On Air light comes on. So it’s often a surprise for everyone including me!

I will usually be accompanied by Him Indoors (AKA the Man with Infinite Patience) and we basically just continue whatever random conversation we were having before the show started (but with fewer expletives for 60 minutes of the conversation).
Music selections come from whatever the past 2 week’s Jan Cave vinyl spins have been, along with listener requests (well, kind of. If you send me a request I’m happy to play it but not necessarily the track you’ve chosen if I prefer a different track by that artist. That’s the way I roll.)

So the basic rules of The Jan Cave – put on your comfiest pjs, pour yourself a glass of something yummy and settle back for 60 minutes of great music mixed with sketchy chatter.
